Positive Minds, Active Citizens: Building Resilience for a Peaceful Europe
The Consult Group Association, Bulgaria, and ChangeMakers Youth Society, Romania, are implementing the project "Positive Minds, Active Citizens: Building Resilience for a Peaceful Europe," No. 2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000200170 under the Erasmus+ Program, KA1/Youth.
A youth exchange took place between June 20 and July 3, 2025, where participants from Bulgaria and Romania worked together on ways to cope with stress, pressure from social media, and political apathy through practices for emotional health, critical thinking, and international dialogue.
The project aimed to develop young people's capacity to be active citizens by promoting positive thinking, mental resilience, and conscious participation in democratic processes.
The project was implemented between June 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025.
As part of the youth exchange, participants explored the relationship between mental well-being, social engagement of young people, and international solidarity. Experts from partner organizations built on their knowledge of working with young people and enriched their experience of active youth cooperation through the application of informal learning methods.
